Profile

I have a passion for big skies, open spaces and the sense of freedom that they give me. Living in London, my world is full of buildings, noise and people, all of which can make for a claustrophobic atmosphere. I am fascinated with depicting the sky and am constantly challenged by the moving and shifting cloud formations, the subtlest and most dramatic changes of colour and the ever changing effect of light. Light and depth is one of the hardest and most challenging things for an artist to adequately reflect in paint. The aim of my paintings is not one of direct representation but of capturing the feeling of space and calmness I get when being in such environments. - A snapshot in which to transport the viewer.

My Prints are more illustrative, often more emotional, they allow my quirky creative side to come out.
All prints are made by hand using collograph printing they are limited editions prints.Because of the nature of the printing no two prints can ever be identical which is part of the charm so with this in mind please expect slight variations.
